Privacy Policy — DaysInDots

DaysInDots is a local-first iOS app for tracking dates and visualizing time using dots, including Home Screen widgets. This Privacy Policy explains what information is used and how.

1) Summary

• DaysInDots does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data to any server operated by the developer.
• Your data is stored locally on your device (and inside the app’s widget extension via App Groups).
• Optional iOS permissions (Calendar, Notifications) are used only for features you enable.

2) Data the app stores (on-device)

DaysInDots may store the following information locally:

• Events you create or import (title, date, color, notes, widget flag).
• Settings (selected mode, language, widget appearance, etc.).
• Reminder settings for events (if you enable reminders).

This data is stored using Apple’s on-device storage (for example, UserDefaults) and an App Group container so widgets can access the same data.

3) Calendar access (optional)

If you choose to import events from Apple Calendar, the app may request Calendar permission. This access is used only to read calendar events for import. Imported events are stored locally in DaysInDots.

You can revoke Calendar access at any time in iOS Settings.

4) Notifications (optional)

If you enable reminders, the app may request permission to send notifications. Reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your device.

You can change notification permissions in iOS Settings.

5) Analytics, tracking, third-party SDKs

• DaysInDots does not include third-party analytics, ads, or tracking SDKs.
• DaysInDots does not use cookies or web tracking.

Apple may collect certain diagnostic or usage information as part of iOS. The developer does not receive this information unless you explicitly share it through Apple mechanisms.

6) Data sharing

DaysInDots does not share your app data with third parties. The only “sharing” is local: the widget extension reads the same on-device storage via App Groups.

7) Data retention & deletion

• Use the in-app option Delete all events to remove stored events.
• Uninstalling the app removes the app’s local storage from the device.
• If you use iCloud device backups, your app data may be included according to Apple’s backup settings.

8) Children’s privacy

DaysInDots is not intended to collect information from children and does not knowingly collect personal data.

9) Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when updates are made.

2) Какие данные хранит приложение (на устройстве)

• События (название, дата, цвет, заметки, флаг «в виджете»).

• Параметры напоминаний (если вы включили напоминания).

Данные хранятся в системном хранилище Apple и контейнере App Group.

3) Доступ к календарю

Если вы импортируете события из Apple Calendar, приложение может запросить доступ к календарю для чтения событий с целью импорта. Импортированные данные сохраняются локально.

4) Уведомления

Напоминания создаются как локальные уведомления на устройстве.

5) Аналитика и трекинг

• Сторонние SDK аналитики и рекламы не используются.
• Веб-трекинг и cookies не применяются.

6) Передача данных

Данные не передаются третьим лицам.

7) Удаление данных

• Функция «Удалить все события» удаляет данные из приложения.
• Удаление приложения удаляет локальные данные.

8) Дети

Приложение не предназначено для сбора данных о детях.

9) Изменения

Дата в начале документа обновляется при изменениях.
